As you remember, my friends, Evsei and Jump found their happiness in Flowergarden. Evsei loved his new parents, Sviatoslav and Ademi, very much. And they treated him as their son. Evsei liked to go to school. In spite of Evsei becoming a foster-son of the president, he did not change and was a sociable and kind boy as before. Classmates loved and respected him, especially after he dragged out a boy named Farhad from under the ice. When it happened, it was said only about Evsei and his exploit in the school.But I would like to tell you another story. Once, while coming back from the school, Evsei and Rosa, his classmate, saw a blue umbrella in the street. The umbrella was unusual; its handle was in the form of a human head.
“What a beautiful umbrella!” the girl said admiringly. “I want to take it. It will suit to my dress.”“Yes, the umbrella is nice”, agreed Evsei, picking up it from the pavement. ”But at first let`s ask passer-byes. Maybe, somebody lost it.”
The children asked a lot of people about the umbrella; however they did not find its owner. Rosa was very glad that now she could take away such beautiful and useful thing.
“See you tomorrow, Evsei!” Rosa said and turned to the right. Near a two-storeyed house was situated, where her parents, the farmers lived.
From time to time each of us can find a pen, a purse or something else in the street. Therefore Evsei was not surprised and even would forget about the blue umbrella. But next day Rosa did not go to school. As it turned out she was ill seriously. It was very strange and after lessons Evsei came to see the girl.
Rosa`s mother was very upset and could not restrain her tears. She accompanied Evsei to the room of her daughter. There instead of an eleven-year-old girl he saw a wrinkled old woman, lying in bed.
“Rosa, really is it you?” Evsei asked confusedly. “Oh, my God! What`s happened?”
“When I came up to our house, I opened the umbrella”, Rosa`s cracked voice answered. “It turned me into an old woman and made fun of me. Now I can`t show myself in the school. It`s terrible.”
“Where is the umbrella?”
“It flew. Evsei, you must stop it! I don`t want to be so old and shabby!” the girl said and began to cry.
“Rosa, please, don`t cry!” Evsei consoled her. “I`ll try to help!”

Two days later Evsei knew that except Rosa five more people suffered from the blue umbrella. The perfidious umbrella turned somebody into insects, and the others into trees. Evsei went to Fairy Vevea and asked her advice.“There are old things, which sometimes turn into jinn and harm people”, Vevea told. “You must burnt down it in a stove. It is the best way to conquer the jinnee.”
Having taken a string, Evsei and Jump, his dog, began to search for the umbrella, the jinnee. They were in luck and found it near the head post office. Jump ran up to it rapidly and gripped its handle, and Evsei tied the umbrella strongly.
“Evsei, you`re a kind boy”, the umbrella, the jinnee entreated. “Release me and any your wish will come true.”
“All right. You must return to Rosa and your other sacrifices their real appearance.”
“I fulfilled your wish.”
“Now promise me that you`ll never harm people.”
“I promise”, the umbrella answered. “I repent of my deeds. I`ll become your friend and will help your country.”Evsei believed the jinnee and untied it. The umbrella flew away at a distance of a few metres and it burst out laughing.
“You`re a very naive and foolish boy, Evsei!” the jinnee said maliciously. “I`ll never keep my promise.”
“What did you say?” Evsei got angry and pronounced: “Bex-nex, fex-pex.”
As soon as Evsei said these words the umbrella, the jinnee turned into sand.
“It`s good that I lived with Fairy Vevea for two years”, Evsei smiled. “Now the jinnee can harm nobody.”
“By the way, Evsei, today is a birthday of your dad”, Jump reminded. “Do you remember?”
“Birthday?” Evsei responded. “Thank you for your reminding me. Let`s go, Jump! We must buy a present for him.”
In a shop Evsei bought for his foster-father two new neckties, which Sviatoslav liked. In the evening Ademi cooked a holiday supper and all the president`s friends wished Sviatoslav a happy birthday.
